Baillie Gifford Marquee, Wimbledon Common
The much loved comedian, writer and mental health advocate comes to Wimbledon for the first event for much awaited new book focusing on hope for the future.
Lockdown, politics, climate change – all anxiety-boosting issues that bombard our news cycles daily. Ruby has looked around the world and found positive stories that can be found just below the surface and that offer hope for the future. She'll share the green shoots in education, climate, business community and health, that if tendered may bloom into a spectacular future. She tells us to turn our minds to the positive and the possible.
Ruby has written five books including How to be Human: the Manual and A Mindfulness Guide for the Frazzled.
'This is my new mission: to share the green shoots of hope peeping through the soil of civilization.'
In conversation with Rachel Cooke, the award-winning writer and columnist at the Observer as well as being the television critic at New Statesman.
