Get Involved

Calling all book lovers!

Interested in taking part in one of London’s biggest literary events?

Why not become a volunteer at Wimbledon BookFest?

Our 50-strong crew of BookFest volunteers help our small team make this big 10-day event happen!

As we begin a series of author talks and workshops at Merton libraries across the borough there are opportunities to be part of the stewarding team at these events.

And occasionally there are opportunities for students to do work experience at our Festival Office too.

What volunteering looks like

Work includes checking event tickets, stewarding families to their seats, assisting with book sales, helping authors with book signings or even being part of a student press team.

And there’s more…
