Join leading BBC radio presenter Jeremy Vine as he shares his new book 'The Diver and the Lover', a compelling story of love, art, sacrifice and politics, set in post-civil war Catalonia.
Broadcaster Jeremy Vine will give the background and setting to his novel set against the backdrop of Franco's Spain and based on real events surrounding one of Salvador Dali's most famous painting. The artwork hangs in Kelvingrove Gallery in Scotland and is one of Jeremy's admitted obsessions.
Jeremy is a journalist, writer and presenter, known for his long-running BBC Radio 2 show The Jeremy Vine Show and Channel 5’s Jeremy Vine. He has had two successful non-fiction books published in recent years, The Diver and the Lover is his first novel.
Kirsty Lang is a BBC journalist and broadcaster.
'We'll never look at one of the world's best-known paintings in the same way again. [Jeremy Vine] has managed to weave fiction and truth together to bring a most unexpected love story.' Fiona Bruce
