Wimbledon BookFest works with over 150 London schools. We have a great programme of schools events kicking off with our World Book Day Events in Feb/March 2023 and our main events festival in September 2023.

Following a successful event at Wimbledon BookFest last summer we are delighted to welcome back the award-winning and much-loved author, comedian and actor for an inspirational event set to inspire all young readers.

Students will be inspired by an afternoon of fun storytelling with a World Book Day author. Prepare to laugh out loud during this hugely thrilling fast-paced caper through mythical legends where everything changes! Expect a rousing mix of jokes, readings, writing tips & anecdotes from the comedy legend that is Sir Lenny Henry.
