John Kennedy interviews Peggy Seeger,
part of the Seeger musical dynasty, and one
of folk music’s most influential artists and
songwriters. After an extensive period of
travelling, Peggy arrived in London, where
she met Ewan MacColl.
As Ewan’s muse, she was the inspiration
behind one of the most
enduring ballads of the
twentieth century, ‘The
First Time Ever I Saw
Your Face’.
She published her
memoir
First Time Ever
in 2016.
