MIN KYM
Gone: A Girl, A Violin, A Life Unstrung
Violinist Min Kym’s musical life began
as a child prodigy, and was devastatingly
interrupted when her rare 1696
Stradivarius was stolen from a railway
station café. Using episodes from her book
Gone
, Min Kym will combine readings
with playing some of
her favourite pieces
(including Brahms,
Paganini, Massenet,
Gluck, Bach and
Fauré) to illustrate
the key stages of her
journey.
