Wilding: Film Screening

Q&A with the Director followed by screening

‘Filled to the brim with a passion for nature… a wonderful way to spend seventy-five minutes’ – Film Carnage

A chance to see this wonderful story of nature revisited, widely regarded as one of the most important documentaries of the year. Based on the bestselling book by Isabella Tree, Wilding tells the story of a young couple that bets on nature for the future of their failing, four-hundred-year-old estate.

In an amazing feat of nature, they set the land back to the wild, to become a place where mussel-diving pigs, storks and butterflies find sanctuary. Thriving flora and a vast array of animals have taken back the land. It is the beginning of a grand venture that will become one of the most significant rewilding experiments in Europe.

The screening will follow a Q&A with the director, Emmy Award-winning nature documentarian David Allen (PASSION Planet), one of the leading independent producer/directors in the field.

Simon London will be interviewing David Allen for the Q&A session. Simon London is an award-winning producer, presenter and digital content creator, with executive roles at Fremantle, RDF and the BBC. He is co-founder of KidRated.com, former Director of Content at Stylist Media and current Head of Production at News UK Studios, with expertise in diversity, social mobility and sustainability.
