Join us for this live-in person ‘book club’ event at Wimbledon Library with the writer Mohsin Hamid, who will be zooming in from Pakistan. Mohsin will discuss his motivations behind the novel The Last White Man, along with his other work including The Reluctant Fundamentalist and Exit, West. The audience will have plenty of opportunity to ask their questions direct to the writer.

This event is FREE to attend, but tickets must be booked.

Mohsin will be talking to Saima Mir, who is an award-winning journalist and writer. She has written for The Guardian, The Times, The Independent and The Daily Telegraph, and worked for the BBC.

Her work appeared in the anthology, It’s Not About the Burqa in 2019, and The Best Most Awful Job in 2020. Her novel The Khan has been optioned by BBC Studios.
