Climate Action: Changing the Narrative
A chance to hear from climate activist, podcaster and twenty-five-year-old powerhouse, Mikaela Loach, who campaigns for an inclusive approach to tackling climate change.

Offering a fresh and hopeful perspective for real climate action that benefits all, Mikaela shares her years of experience in the climate movement and offers an accessible appraisal to empower action for a better future for all.

‘Practical and urgent – this is a clarion call for transformation from the front lines of the fight for people and planet. I have no doubt It’s Not That Radical will become an indispensable toolkit for a new generation of activists’ – Naomi Klein

Mikaela will be talking to Sofia Akel, an award-winning cultural historian, creative consultant, writer, host and lecturer specialising in Black British history. She is also the founder of the non-profit, Free Books Campaign which gets books to those who can’t afford or access them for free. In 2022 she became one of 30-under-30 in the Guap x Adidas Blacklist.
