Michelle Paver

Live Podcast Recording
Festival patron and Sunday Times bestselling author Michelle Paver will talk about her latest supernatural fiction in this live recording with Always Take Notes, a podcast for and about writers and writing.

Michelle will discuss her incredible career, from finding inspiration for Wolf Brother on Wimbledon Common to her latest novel Rainforest, which weaves Mayan culture with themes of obsession, gender and rebirth.

‘Paver’s storytelling is irresistible.’
The Times

Michelle Paver is author of the bestselling Wolf Brother series, which has sold more than three million worldwide. She is celebrated for her vivid portrayal of the natural world. Her adult novels, Dark Matter and Thin Air, were hailed by The Guardian as ‘terrifying’.

Always Take Notes is a podcast for and about writers and writing that aims to be informative (tackling vexing questions including how to negotiate fees, what makes an excellent book pitch and how to write for TV). It is hosted by Rachel LLoyd – the deputy culture editor of The Economist – and Simon Akam, an author and writer whose work has appeared in the New Yorker, GQ, The Guardian and London Review of Books.
