Kate Humble

At Home with the TV Presenter
PLEASE NOTE: The venue has changed for this event. It will now take place in the Wimbledon High School Hall

One of the UK’s best known and loved TV presenters, champion of sustainability and the environment joins us for  a fresh and frank exploration of her stripped-back approach to life.

Kate will be talking about her new book, Home Made, which celebrates everyone who makes and grows the food we eat, and will be taking questions from the audience about life on the farm and the inspiration for her recipes. Kate is a champion of the environment, nature conservation and rural affairs, and  is president of the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust and founded Humble by Nature, a rural skills centre on her farm in Wales. She lives with her husband and other assorted animals on a smallholding in the Wye Valley.

‘You’d have to have a heart of stone not to be touched by Kate’s enthusiasm for her new way of life.’ – Daily Mail

Kate will be in conversation with journalist and Festival patron Jennifer Cox.
