Jonathan Coe and Natasha Brown

Fictions: The Pursuit of Truth

Two critically acclaimed writers share stories of mystery, power and truth as explored in their latest novels.

Natasha Brown’s Universality  is about a journalist who sets out to solve a murder but descends into an exposé of the spectacular force of language. Jonathan Coe’s The Proof of my Innocence is a razor-sharp political critique wrapped up in a murder mystery that darts between decades and genres.

Jonathan and Natasha will be in conversation with Suzi Feay , a literary critic who regularly writes for The Guardian and The Financial Times.

‘Brave, wry, cool, and thrilling, this is the kind of fiction that makes you sit up and feel alive.’
Andrew O’Hagan

Under-30s tickets – £10.
