About the Authors
Jessica Swale is an Olivier Award-winning playwright, screenwriter and director. Most recently, she has written the book for Paddington: The Musical with songwriter Tom Fletcher. She set up Red Handed Theatre Company in 2005, directing The Rivals (starring Celia Imrie) and The Belle’s Stratagem for which she was nominated for Best Director. She has directed at The Park, Shakespeare’s Globe, The Watermill and theatres across the US and Canada.
Deborah Frances-White is a Sunday Times best selling author and an award winning screenwriter, author, comedian who’s best known for The Guilty Feminist podcast. Her new book about divisions in society and how to heal them, published by Virago, is called Six Conversations We’re Scared to Have.
