Booker Prize-winning author Alan Hollinghurst talks about his latest novel, a portrait of modern England through the lens of one man’s acutely observed and often unnerving experience.

Covering shifting attitudes towards class, sexuality and social change, Our Evenings is an excoriating history of the last 50 years in the UK; dark, luminous and rich in both comedy and tragedy. Alan will be in conversation with publisher Alexandra Pringle, Founding Director of Virago Press and former Director of Bloomsbury Publishing.
