Aisha Hassan, Keshava Guha & Dur e Aziz Amna
Stories from India & Pakistan

Three exciting writers explore their vivid new fictions set against backdrops of ecological collapse, political unrest and brutal circumstances.
Keshava Guha’s novel uses the lives of two Delhi families to depict the significant changes in the city and country, offering a perspective unique in contemporary Indian fiction. Aisha Hassan narrates an evocative tale of family secrets, sacrifice andredemption set in the brickyards outside of Lahore, inspired by a real-life story. Dur e Aziz Amna traces the class struggle of a woman stuck between province and metropolis, between motherhood and ambition, set against a hypnotic, oppressive backdrop of political violence and natural disaster.
Aisha, Keshava and Dur e will be in conversation with Saba Karim Khan, writer and cultural commentator whose work spans literature, identity, and the global South Asian experience.
‘Keshava Guha is an astute and insightful observer of contemporary India.’
