We are thrilled to announce the first names of Wimbledon BookFest 2026, including Robert Harris, The Good, The Bad & The Rugby, Meera Syal and more!

On Wednesday 25 March, we revealed the first names of Wimbledon BookFest 2026, bringing the best names in fiction, sport, history, politics, comedy, music and more.

Robert Harris will return to Wimbledon BookFest with his latest historical thriller Agrippa, trailblazing Irish storytellers Donal Ryan and Louise Kennedy will explore their creative inspirations and new novels, and one of the defining literary voices of the past 60 years, Margaret Drabble, will discuss her life in writing.

Multi-million-bestselling author Matt Haig will bring us back to the Midnight World with his newest book The Midnight Train and the graphic novel version of The Midnight Library, and authors of two of the most anticipated novels of the year Kiran Millwood Hargrave (Almost Life) and Sarvat Hasin (Strange Girls) will chat about love, the intensity of youth and self-discovery.

Get ready for an evening of banter and rugby reminiscence with the experts behind the world’s most popular rugby podcast The Good, The Bad and The Rugby (James Haskell, Alex Payne and Mike Tindall).

BAFTA Fellow, comedy legend and novelist Meera Syal will join us to discuss her funny, compelling and very touching memoir Vigilauntie and Kadiatu Kanneh-Mason will explore her experience raising her remarkably talented family with a live performance from one of her children.

Xand van Tulleken will take us on his quest to expose the bewildering world of wellness and leading scientist and co-founder of ZOE Tim Spector will return after his sold-out 2024 event with his newest book Good Mood Food to reveal the connection between gut health and well-being.
