Three of the sharpest voices in British crime writing come together to talk murder, motive, where their stories come from and why crime fiction is the genre best equipped to tell the truth about modern Britain.
Vaseem Khan is the award-winning author of the Malabar House mysteries and the Baby Ganesh Detective Agency series and chair of the Crime Writers’ Association. Saima Mir is the author of bestselling The Khan, a propulsive reinvention of the gangland thriller rooted in the British Pakistani community of a northern English city. Harriet Tyce is the queen of the legal psychological thriller, a former criminal barrister and star of The Traitors whose novels pull readers into the murkiest corners of marriage, motherhood and the law.
‘Crime fiction is the perfect vehicle for examining the society we live in.’
Val McDermid
