Drawing from her own experience bringing up her remarkable family, Kadiatu Kanneh-Mason discusses the challenges and celebrations facing Black artists today and explores how to navigate the world of music, creativity, and identity.
Through conversations with her extraordinarily gifted children, Kadiatu explores what it’s like to come of age in these turbulent times, when Black artistic self-expression is so often met with disparagement and abuse online – and offers a hopeful, powerful way through. The evening will feature a live performance from one of the Kanneh-Masons.
