What does it involve?

Tasks cover a range of activities including welcoming visitors, assisting with queries, checking tickets, stewarding guests to their seats, or helping out with author Q&A sessions.

We particularly encourage 6th formers from local schools to get involved and join our BookFest Academy – but volunteer opportunities are open to everyone. 

Wimbledon BookFest Volunteering 2026

Sign up to become a volunteer at London’s Leading Literature Festival! Wimbledon BookFest is seeking enthusiastic team of volunteers to help us deliver a wonderful festival for our community. Please do let us know if you would like to be a part of the team. Festival dates: 15- 25 October 2026 Commitment: a minimum of 4 shifts over the 10 days of the festival (shifts are approx. 4hrs in length.) We will contact you on the email address given to invite you to a recruitment session.
