Keeping Audiences Safe - HANDS, FACE, SPACE
Wimbledon BookFest complies with Government Guidelines on operating outside performances, with reduced and socially distanced audiences.
Due to Covid restrictions BookFest is having to do things a little differently to ensure that we keep our audiences safe at the Sunrise Festival.
We are still on Wimbledon Common, however, we are in a slight differed location this year. The Festival site is just across from Rushmere Pond, on the other side of Cannizaro Rd. (See map - postcode SW19 5AZ)
All seats are pre-allocated. There are 3 different entrances to enter the site so please refer to your ticket to find out which entrance you should use on arrival.
We are encouraging audience members to only arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time of the event they have booked for as there will be no foyer or waiting area.

There will be no physical tickets this year, bookings need to be made in advance and e-tickets will be emailed to audience members.
You will need to either print your e-ticket or show on your smartphone to gain entry to the event you have booked for.

The venue spaces are cleaned before and after every event.
BOOK INCLUSIVE EVENTS
Books are included with the ticket price for the Sunrise Festival and will be on your seat in advance of audience arriving.
WHY BOOKS ARE INCLUDED IN THE TICKET PRICE
A key part of why authors come to the Festival is to promote their book and as a literature festival our commitment to this is reflected in this year’s ‘Book & Ticket’ pricing policy.
With Covid-19 restrictions we are sadly unable to host a bookshop on site this year. We hope to be able to bring our Waterstones bookshop back at our September Sunset Festival.
These are limited at Sunrise 2021 but there will be BookFest Bar Trolleys with a selection of drinks refreshments in both venue spaces and a Costa Coffee van on-site.
Wimbledon Village is very close and has many lovely bars, pubs and restaurants. Currently you need to book in advance for most eateries.
These are reduced and more limited this year but there are pulbic toilets on-site
ON-SITE MEDICAL TEAM
First aid trained staff are on hand to attend to general medical issues.
There is no parking on site but there are some pay & display bays in the area.
