We are working towards sustainability and encourage visitors to use public transport, walk or cycle where possible.
We would like to thank the Wimbledon and Putney Common Conservators for allowing Wimbledon BookFest to take part on the beautiful setting of Wimbledon Common and the support they give the Festival.
Bookings need to be made in advance and e-tickets will be emailed to audience members.
You will need to show your e-ticket or confirmation email of your booking to gain entry to the event you have booked for.
Our tickets are priced to cover the festivals costs. We are a not-for-profit arts and education charity. For children’s event all attendees aged 2+ are required to have a ticket. We encourage our ticket purchasers to support our ‘give a book’ campaign for schools.
If you have not received your e-tickets or have a query please email the box office at firstname.lastname@example.org
Events generally run for an hour with no interval followed by a book signing. Please visit the event page for confirmation of duration of the event and to check details of the book signing.
For health & safety reasons dogs are not permitted on the Festival site except for assistance dogs.
FESTIVAL INFORMATION DESK
Our information desk on-site will be open throughout the Festival. Please purchase tickets in advance at wimbledonbookfest.org.
All tickets must be pre-booked with a mixture of allocated and unallocated seating.
Refreshments are provided by our on-site refreshment provider Catered by Justin. Light snacks, coffee and cakes as well as a full bar offering will be available. Cote will be bringing their classic Citroen food van over the weekend to serve French toast, croque monsieur and French Onion Soup.
Wimbledon Village is very close and has many lovely bars, pubs and restaurants. They do get busy during BookFest so booking in advance is recommended.
Authors books will be available to purchase from our on-site bookstore, Waterstones. Occasionally books are included in the ticket price and this is stated in the event listing.
A range of exhibitors will be on-site this year at the Sunrise Festival including Freddie’s Flowers, Prospect Magazine, Too Far Media, Waterstones and Cote.
There are public toilets on-site.
ON-SITE FIRST AID
First aid trained staff are on hand to attend to general medical issues.
