Keeping Audiences Safe at Sunset Festival

- Social distancing - We have not returned pre-covid levels as yet and have allowed a little more space to keep our audiences safe.

There is no parking on site but there are some pay & display bays in the area
VENUES & ENTRANCES
All seats are pre-allocated.
There are 3 different entrances to enter the site so please refer to your ticket to find out which entrance you should use on arrival.
We are encouraging audience members to only arrive 20 minutes prior to the start time of the event they have booked for as there will be no foyer or waiting area.
There will be no physical tickets this year, bookings need to be made in advance and e-tickets will be emailed to audience members.
You will need to show your e-ticket or confirmation email of your booking to gain entry to the event you have booked for.

ARRIVING FOR EVENTS
Please arrive no more than 20mins before the start time of your event you have booked for.
Events run from 45 mins to an hour long with no interval. Please visit the event page for confirmation of duration of event.
For health & safety reasons dogs are not permitted on the Festival site.
The are two venue spaces the Baillie Gifford Tent and the Robert Graves Tent, both with open sides.
The spaces accommodates approx 50% of the audience of normal capacities. There is no foyer at the Sunset Festival.
All seating will be pre-booked with allocated seating to allow for social distancing. Events have been staggered to allow for the cleaning of all seating and tables.
As an outside event, face coverings are now optional. Staff will be wearing face masks when interacting with the audience.
Hand sanitsing stations are available at all entrances.
The venue spaces are cleaned before and after every event.
Books are included with the ticket price for most events (see event for details) and will be on your seat in advance. Waterstones are back tihs Festival and will have a marquee selling books from Friday to Monday.
A key part of why authors come to the Festival is to promote their book and as a literature festival. Our commitment to this is reflected in this year’s ‘Book & Ticket’ pricing policy. Any unwanted books can be returned to our bookshop team for charitable use.
These are limited at Sunset Festival but there will be 'pop up' bars in both the Robert Graves anbd Baillie Gifford venues with a selection of drinks refreshments in both venue spaces.
Costa Coffee will also be on-site.
Wimbledon Village is very close and has many lovely bars, pubs and restaurants. The do get busy dusing BookFest so booking in advance is recommended
These are reduced and more limited this year but there are public toilets on-site
ON-SITE FIRST AID
First aid trained staff are on hand to attend to general medical issues.
