Refunds and Exchanges
We cannot offer refunds or exchanges, however, if an event sells out, we will do our best to resell your ticket and provide you with a refund.
Please contact our ticket agent, Polka Theatre on 020 8543 4888 (Mon -Fri, 10am-5pm). From Friday 5th October you can visit our box office on site at the Festival (Open Mon-Fri from 5pm, Weekends from 10am).
Receiving Your Tickets
Tickets purchased from Wed 3 Oct will be available for collection on the door of the venue your events is taking place.
All tickets purchased prior to that date were posted out. If for any reason you haven't received them please bring your receipt and the box office will endeavour to help.
NB: Polka Theatre do not sell tickets on site at the Theatre.

Q. Do I need a ticket for my child?
A. For children's events, everyone 12 months or older must have a paid ticket. Children under 12 must be accompanied.
Not all events are suitable for young children and babies, and they will not be able to attend general performances. Our Get Into BookFest programme allows children aged 12 -19 to obtain tickets for a reduced rate of £7.50 on many events.
Q. The event I want to attend is sold out, can I go on the waiting list?
A. We don't offer a waiting list service but occassionally there are returns on site during the Festival. Please call 020 8543 4888 open Mon-Fri (10am-5pm). Occassionally there are retruns on the day. Please visit the box office on site.
Q. I can no longer attend an event, can I get a refund?
A. Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds or exchanges, however, if an event sells out, we will do our best to resell your ticket and provide you with a refund.

Q. My tickets haven’t arrived, how can I get replacements?
A. Tickets are posted for purchases made up to one week before the event commences. The box office on site at Festival have a full list of tickets sold and will do their best to help you. Please arrive in good time before your event as the box office can get very busy.
Q. I have lost my tickets, how can I get replacements?
A. Unfortunately we can't offer duplicate tickets as seating is unallocated in our venues. Our on-site box office team will do their best to help you as they have records of all purchases. Please bring your email ticket receipt with you. It will have been sent from our ticket agent Polka Theatre.
