Climate Challenge
Aja Barber, Jayne Buxton and Ed Winters
Saturday 11 June, 3:30-5pm
Robert Graves Tent
£18.50/£15
Three writers challenge conventional thinking on what really impacts our carbon footprint.
Based on their findings and analysis each panellist will explore the impact our choices have on the planet. Each author will present their view to the audience, followed by a panel discussion.
Jayne Buxton argues that eating a plant-based diet won’t improve health or save the planet. Ed Winters offers compelling arguments for veganism across topics including farming, economics, the media and our health. Aja Barber will expose the endemic injustices in our consumer industries and question why we consume as much as we do, highlighting the effects of the fashion industry on climate change.
‘The future of humanity and indeed all life on earth depends on us.’ David Attenborough
