Brian Moore's Rugby Night

With David Flatman and Mark Durden-Smith

Friday 17th September 2021, 8.30pm

Baillie Gifford Tent

Joining Festival Patron Brian Moore for this year’s rugby night are former Bath prop forward, David Flatman, and broadcaster, Mark Durden-Smith, for an entertaining evening of banter.

Once described as rugby’s answer to Ant & Dec the hugely popular broadcasting double act are known for their acute observations and witty one-liners. Tonight they discuss with Brian every aspect of the sport from how to survive the front row, to what makes a good leader, from referees (good and bad), to mind games with the opposition, and with teammates. They speak frankly about what can happen on tour, and reveal who are rugby’s hardest players. Their first book, Flats and Durders Offload – Rugby Laid Bare, is out in October.

Please note: This event was previously advertised for a 8pm start.

Signed copies of Flats and Durders Offload (pub: Oct 2021) will be available for pre-order on the night.
