The most challenging part of the parenting journey is the teenage years and this conversation will offer insight and discussion into a time of life that can be difficult to navigate.

This event for young people and their parents/carers will explore some of the most pressing issues facing them today with topics covered including social media, sexual harassment and mental health.

Lorraine Candy is a mother of four children, (three of whom are teenagers), and a long-term parenting columnist. She co-hosts the chart-topping Postcards from Midlife podcast, which also tackles parenting adolescents.

Jeffrey Boakye is a writer, teacher, broadcaster and ex-pupil of Wimbledon College. He is a passionate educator and commentator on education, popular culture and race.

Lorraine and Jeffrey will be in conversation with Trixie Rawlinson: coach, journalist and qualified psychotherapist.
