The Founder and MD of luxury gift brand Biscuiteers and the Women's Prize for Fiction shares her impressive story.
Harriet Hastings co-founded Biscuiteers, the award-winning hand-iced biscuit business in 2007 and as a result reinvented the luxury gifting sector. Having started her career in publishing, latterly as a Marketing Director at Penguin, she spent 10 years as Director of consumer brands at Trimedia, a top 20 PR agency. Harriet is also MD of the Women’s Prize for Fiction, one of the most prestigious literary awards in the world.
Harriet joins us to tell the story behind Biscuiteers, the company’s recent move to Merton and her life as a business leader, including how she co-founded the Women’s Prize for Fiction with author Kate Mosse.
Stefan Stern is a writer on business and management and columnist for the Financial Times and The Guardian. He is the author of Myths of Management.
