We have the chance to live better than ever. But as humans become more powerful can we avoid blundering into enviromental disaster?

Mike Berners-Lee addresses the knock- on effects of our actions and what we should do first. Do we all need to become vegetarian? How can we fly in a low-carbon world? Should we frack? How can we take control of technology? Does it all come down to population? And, given the global nature of the challenges we now face, what on Earth can any of us do?

These are the big climate questions that can often make people feel lost, impotent, confused and frustrated. Fortunately, leading environmental thinker and writer Mike Berners-Lee has crunched the numbers and created a practical, and even enjoyable, solutions plan which helps humanity thrive on this - our only - planet.

‘We still have time to avoid the worst, unacceptable consequences of climate change, but we need to get busy right away.’

-Al Gore
