Explore one of the world’s most prolonged and tragic conflicts with Israel’s most in uential historian and leading journalist for the Middle East.
In The Biggest Prison on Earth, Ilan Pappé powerfully analyses recently declassified archival material to expose the legal, bureaucratic and security mechanisms used to control over one million Palestinians in what he believes is, to all intents and purposes, the world’s largest ‘open prison’. Donald Macintyre was The Independent’s Jerusalem bureau chief from 2004-2012 and won Next Century Foundation’s Peace through Media Award in 2011. He believes Gaza has the creativity and resilience to play a leading role in the Middle East.
This promises to be a profound and eye-opening event which will provide a new angle on the Israel-Palestine conflict.
