Join Nick Robertson (Founder and former CEO of ASOS) and Nigel Blow (CE Morleys, Group) for what promises to be a lively discussion on the issues facing retail and the high street more generally.
The event will start with the story of ASOS, one of the largest fashion e-retailers in the UK told by locally based Wimbledon entrepreneur Nick Robertson. We will then hear from by Nigel Blow CEO of Morleys Retail Group, which includes Elys, Wimbledon. Morleys are bucking the trend nationally as a successful retail offering, who connect and respond to their communities. Both are Wimbledon stories.
The event will include a discussion with the audience, including business and interest groups on the experiences, challenges and the future development of high street going forward.
Join us for this essential discussion on the future place of our town centres and the role retail as well as arts and culture industry will play.
This event is supported by Merton Council and Future Wimbledon
A reception for businesses hosted by Merton Chamber of Commerce will run prior to the event ( 4.30-5.30pm - William Morris Tent )
