Anthony Horowitz is one of the most prolific writers in the UK. A polymath, he juggles writing books, TV series, films plays and journalism. Many know him for his bestselling teen spy series Alex Rider. In his new series of detective novels for adults, Anthony places himself as a central character, commissioned by a detective to write a book about a complex murder he is working on. A classic crime novel for the modern reader, The Word is Murder is the whodunnit of all whodunnits. Anthony is responsible for writing some of the most loved and successful TV series, including Foyle’s War. Anthony’s latest show New Blood premiered on BBC iPlayer last year. He regularly writes on subjects from politics to education for the national press and has a travel column in The Telegraph. There is much to explore with this writer.
